Italian Pasta Casserole
This pasta classic is prepared in no time at all.
- Serves: 4 persons
Ingredients
- 450g pasta of your choice (e.g. penne or fusilli)
- 3Handvoll garlic, finely diced
- 500g tomato passata
- 75g parmesan cheese, grated
- 400g cherry tomatoes, halved
- etwas olive oil
- 1 ½medium onions, finely diced
- 1chilli pepper, seeded, diced (alternatively: 1/2 tsp chilli powder)
- 1Tassen single cream
- 200g mozzarella, grated
- Handvoll fresh basil
- Prisen salt
- etwas freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.Step 2
Bring enough water to the boil in a saucepan, add salt and cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the packet.Step 3
In the meantime, heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic, onions and cherry tomatoes. Then stir in the tomato passata and the cream. Add chilli (diced or powder) and season with salt and pepper. Then let the sauce simmer for 3 minutes.Step 4
Combine the pasta and sauce in a saucepan and sprinkle with mozzarella. Then bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and - for a special taste - sprinkle with grated parmesan.Step 5
Garnish with fresh basil and enjoy!
