Whip up a thick, creamy milkshake using fresh bananas and ice cream, then finish with a swirl of whipped cream and sprinkles for a real diner-style classic

- 2ripe bananas, peeled
- 1scoop vanilla ice cream
- 100-150ml milk
- whipped or squirty cream, to serve
- ground cinnamon or sprinkles, to serve
Step 1Put the bananas, ice cream and 100ml of milk in a liquidiser and whizz until smooth and foamy. Check the consistency and add another 50ml of milk if you prefer a thinner milkshake, then whizz again to combine.
Step 2Pour into a tall glass and top with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon or chocolate sprinkles to serve, if you like.
