Smoked salmon pâté with bagel crisps
A twist on the classic american salmon and cream cheese bagel. This version uses warmed smoked salmon, lemon and watercress on top of crispy bagel. The perfect food for a party
- Serves: 6 persons
- 250g hot smoked salmon, flaked
- 100g unsalted butter, softened
- 100g cream cheese
- 1lemon, juiced
- a handful watercress
- 3wholemeal bagels
- 2tbsp olive oil
- sea salt flakes
Step 1Put the salmon, butter, cream cheese, lemon juice and watercress in a food processor and whizz until roughly blended.
Step 2Halve the bagels then slice thinly. Drizzle with olive oil and sea salt and bake at 190c/fan 170c/gas 5 for 10-15 minutes or until crisp. Serve with the pâté.
