Vegan hot chocolate
This dairy-free hot chocolate is silky, sweet and topped with whipped plant-based cream – use oat or almond milk alternatives in this warming drink
- Serves: 1 person
- 200ml (oat or almond work well) dairy-free milk
- 1tbsp cocoa, plus a dusting
- ½-1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2tbsp whippable plant-based cream
Step 1Put the milk, cocoa and maple syrup in a small pan and whisk over a low heat for 2 minutes until smooth and steaming.
Step 2Pour the hot chocolate into a warmed mug, then top with the cream and a dusting of cocoa to serve.
