Roasted peach waffles with clotted cream and iced tea syrup
This simple roasted peach waffles with clotted cream and iced tea syrup recipe makes the perfect summer dessert, and only requires 10 minutes of hands on time.

Ingredients
- 6flat peaches
- 2sprigs of fresh thyme
- lemon juiceto taste
- 700ml oficed tea
- brown sugar to taste
- clotted cream to taste
- 4sweet waffles
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas mark 4Step 2
Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit. Place them in a baking tray with the lemon juice, iced tea and thyme. Sprinkle a little brown sugar on top of each cut peach halfStep 3
Roast for 30 minutes, or until the peaches are tenderStep 4
Serve the roasted peaches on top of the waffles with a spoonful of clotted cream and some of the syrup from the roasting tin drizzled on top
