Recipe Tip: Chestnut Latte
Top Recipe. All ingredients and tips for getting it right. This coffee-chestnut creation tastes like autumn in a glass.
- 200 gchestnuts, pre-cooked
- 1double espresso (eg from JURA fully automatic coffee machine)
- 5 tablespoonsugar
- 5 tablespoonwater
- 1 teaspoon(s)cinnamon
- 1 pinch(es)vanilla sugar
- caramelised chestnuts
Step 1Pour water, sugar and cinnamon into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then add the chestnuts and mash with a fork or use a hand blender.
Step 2Put about a tablespoon of the chestnut purée into a large glass, pour in the espresso and stir well. Froth the milk, sweeten with vanilla sugar and pour into the glass.
Step 3Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and caramelised chestnuts on top. The autumnal coffee treat is ready!
