A classic spritz is given a festive makeover: simply mix Aperol, sparkling wine and bitters with ginger beer and garnish with orange, star anise and pomegranate seeds
- 60ml Aperol or Campari
- 90ml sparkling wine, chilled
- 2dashes Angostura bitters
- ginger beer, to top up
- orange wedge, rosemary sprig, star anise and pomegranate seeds to garnish
Step 1Add the Aperol to a chilled wine glass filled with ice followed by the sparkling wine and bitters. Top with the ginger beer and gently mix to combine. Garnish with orange, star anise and pomegranate seeds.
