Mezcal mule
Match earthy mezcal with spicy ginger beer for a smoky yet refreshing cocktail that is perfect for barbecues

Ingredients
- a couple of teaspoons of chilli salt (we used Mexican brand Tajin)
- lime wedge
- 50ml mezcal
- 25ml lime juice
- top with ginger beer , to serve
- lime wedges , for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
Scatter a couple of teaspoons of chilli salt onto a saucer.Step 2
Run a lime wedge around the rim of a highball glass and dip the glass into the chilli salt.Step 3
Stir 50ml mezcal and 25ml of lime juice (use more if you want a zestier drink as the ginger beer will be very sweet) with plenty of ice in the glass, top with ginger beer and serve. Garnish with lime wedges.
