Ingredients
- 1garlic clove
- ½onion
- 1 tablespoonolive oil
- 2Salsicce (Italian sausage), skinned and cut into small pieces
- 125 mlred wine
- 400 gchopped tomatoes (from a can)
- salt
- pepper
- 1 teaspoon(s)sugar
- 200 gmixed minced meat
- 1egg
- parsley
- parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 handfulbreadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper
- 500 gspaghetti
Instructions
Step 1
Mix minced meat, beaten egg and parsley.Step 2
Add salt and pepper and then the parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs, a little at a time, until you get a mixture that is not too sticky.Step 3
Shape the mixture into small balls.Step 4
Sauté the garlic and onion until light brown.Step 5
Add the sausage pieces and sauté for a few minutes.Step 6
Deglaze with red wine and cook until the alcohol has evaporated.Step 7
Add the chopped tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and sugar.Step 8
Put the polpette in the sauce and cook over a medium heat.Step 9
Cook the spaghetti until al dente. Drain.Step 10
Mix with the sauce, serve and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
