Dark Chocolate Gelato Recipe
With some of the world's best ice cream coming from Italy, it's a safe bet this dark chocolate gelato will be a winner when you make it at home.
Ingredients
- 3 ½oz of dark chocolate, good quality (minimum 70%), chopped
- 3large egg yolks
- 7.063oz of caster sugar
- 1.063pint of whole milk
- 1 ⅔fl oz of double cream
- 2tbsp of cocoa powder, good quality, unsweetened
- 1 ½tsp vanilla essence
- 1pinch of salt, large
- 1.063oz of cacao nibs
