Granita al Limone
Several ingredients can be combined to make lemon granita, which is refreshing and easy to make.
- Serves: 8 persons
Ingredients
- 250g sugar
- 500ml water
- 500ml lemon juice
- 4organic lemons, zested
- 1Prisen salt
Instructions
Step 1
Bring water to the boil in a saucepan, add the sugar and boil until dissolved, mix with lemon juice and zest and a pinch of salt, leave to cool.Step 2
Pour into a suitable metal or enamel mould and freeze for 1 hour.Step 3
Rough up the mixture with a fork. Freeze for a further 2 hours, then scrape through vigorously with the tines of a fork to make icy flakes.Step 4
Cover with foil and freeze until further use. Up to this point, the recipe can be prepared up to 3 days in advance.Step 5
Serve in scraped out lemon shells, halved and frozen.
