Recipe Tip: Spelt & Wild Garlic Bread

    1. Step 1

      Preheat the oven to 200°C.

      Put the spelt, salt, fennel, cumin and coriander in a grain mill and grind finely.

      Pour 450ml of warm water in a bowl, add the dry yeast and turmeric powder and mix well.

      Chop the wild garlic and add to the bowl with the spelt and spice flour, sunflower seeds, linseed and pumpkin seeds, and knead everything together thoroughly.

      Shape and place the dough in a loaf tin, sprinkle with seeds and bake for 60 minutes at 200°C. Leave to cool for 10 minutes before removing from tin.
