Turmeric latte
Turmeric is thought to have a host of health benefits, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties – get more of the spice into your diet by whipping up this golden latte at home

Ingredients
- ½tsp ground turmeric
- ⅛tsp ground ginger
- ⅛tsp ground cinnamon
- a pinch ground cardamom
- 2tsp brown sugar or maple syrup
- 200ml barista-style dairy-free milk (oat or almond work well)
Instructions
Step 1
Tip all of the ingredients into a pan and whisk over a low heat until steaming. Once warm, remove from the heat and whisk vigorously to create a foam on the milk, or use a milk foamer if you have one.Step 2
Taste and add more sugar or maple syrup, if you prefer. Rinse a heatproof mug or cup with boiling water to warm it, then pour in the latte and serve.
