- 125butter ormargarine

Step 1
Toss apples with self raising flour and sugar in amedium mixing bowl.Melt butter in a small saucepan on the stovetop orin a small bowl in the microwave. Stir in egg.Pour butter and egg into the apple mixture andmix until combined.Spoon into a greased and lined slice tin. It wontpour out and is quite a dry mix but still works. Ifyou wish you can add a tbsn of milk to make itslightly wetter. I pat it down into the dish with myhands.Bake at 180 C for 35 to 40 minutes or until the topis golden brown and a skewer inserted into themiddle comes out clean. Keeps for about 3 days.Serve with cream
