Halva-topped rice pudding
Enjoy a pot of warming rice pudding on a cold winter's day. Sprinkle with cinnamon, cardamom and a little orange zest and top with halva and extra cream.
- Serves: 4 persons
- 500g ready-made rice pudding
- ground cinnamon
- ground cardamom
- grating of orange zest (optional)
- 1tbsp single cream
- 1-2 tsp crumbled halva
Step 1Heat 500g of ready-made rice pudding with a pinch of ground cinnamon, ground cardamom or a grating of orange zest, and divide it between four shallow ramekins or heatproof bowls.
Step 2Stir 1 tbsp of single cream into each one. Sprinkle 1-2 tsp of crumbled halva onto each and grill for a few minutes until the top is bubbling. Serve with extra cream on the side, if you like.
