Allergy-Friendly Scrumptious Waffles
Gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free, these delicious waffles make a hearty breakfast. They've got a nice crisp on the edges and a good chew to the inside. If desired, sprinkle confectioners' sugar over the waffles. To add a pop of color and flavor, cut berries and/or other fruit and place on top of waffles. If you'd like more sweetness, pour your choice of syrup on top. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2cups gluten-free all-purpose baking flour
- 2tablespoons white sugar
- 2teaspoons baking soda
- 1teaspoon salt
- 4teaspoons molasses
- 1½ cups warm water
- ¼cup coconut oil, melted
- 2tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Step 1
Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and soda in a large mixing bowl. Pour in molasses and stir until partially incorporated.Step 2
Combine water, coconut oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract in a medium mixing bowl.Step 3
Preheat waffle iron on medium according to manufacturers' instructions. Grease both sides of the waffle iron.Step 4
Pour water mixture over flour mixture and stir thoroughly. Add chocolate chips. Ladle 1/4 cup batter into the waffle iron. Close and cook until browned on the outside, 2 to 3 minutes per waffle. Take out each waffle with a fork and place on a serving platter.
