Southern Style Sweet Fruit Tea Three Ways
Iced tea is the drink of choice in the South, and our three delicious fruit versions are perfect for a big or small family cookout or tailgating event.

Ingredients
- Fruit Iced Tea:
- 18to 24 tea bags
- 1 ½quarts boiling water
- 2cups granulated sugar
- 48ounces canned pineapple juice
- 12ounce canned frozen orange juice concentrate
- 12ounces canned frozen lemonade concentrate
- Lemon and mint, optional, for garnish if desired

Step 1
Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Place 18 to 24 tea bags in bowl or pitcher. Pour 1 1/2 quarts of boiling water over tea bags.Step 3
Add 2 cups of sugar, stirring to dissolve. Let tea bags steep in sugar water for several hours or overnight.Step 4
Squeeze tea bags to wring out extra flavor before discarding.Step 5
Pour tea into a large bowl or pot. Add cans of pineapple juice, frozen orange juice, and lemonade.Step 6
Stir until the concentrate has thawed.Step 7
Pour equal amounts into 2 (1-gallon) jugs.Step 8
Add cold water to each jug to fill and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, at least 2 hours. Shake well before serving. Garnish as desired.
