Easy Roasted Rhubarb Recipe
Roasted rhubarb is just as easy as the traditional method of sewing, but the results are worlds apart with an intense flavor and bright color.
- Serves: 4 persons
- 1pound rhubarb
- 2tablespoons soft brown sugar
- 3tablespoons orange juice
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Preheat the oven to 350 F/175 C/ Gas 4.
Step 3Cut the rhubarb into 1-inch pieces and place in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with the sugar and the orange juice.
Step 4Loosely cover the dish with aluminum foil, a lid, or simply a roasting tray.
Step 5Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until the rhubarb is cooked through, but not falling apart.
Step 6Remove from the oven and leave uncovered to cool.
Step 7Use in all your favorite rhubarb recipes and enjoy.
