Easy Vegan Bruschetta

Ingredients
- 12slices French bread (or Italian bread, lightly toasted)
- 3large tomatoes (chopped)
- 1tablespoon olive oil
- 3tablespoons fresh basil (chopped)
- ¼teaspoon sea salt (or kosher salt)
- Dash fresh cracked pepper

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Chop the tomatoes. You may want to remove excess seeds and pulp.Step 3
Chop the fresh basil.Step 4
Combine the tomatoes, oil, basil, and salt in a covered bowl and let marinate at least 4 hours. Do not refrigerate as the tomatoes will lose their flavor in the refrigerator.Step 5
Immediately before serving, toast the bread slices lightly.Step 6
Use a slotted spoon to layer the tomato basil mixture onto bread.Step 7
Crack fresh pepper over the top. Serve immediately.
