Moroccan Steak Marinade
This mild Moroccan marinade recipe for steak has flavors of cumin and paprika. It can be used when grilling, broiling, or cooking in a grill pan.
- Serves: 8 persons
- 2pounds 3 ounces/1 kg. steak
- 2cloves of garlic (pressed or very finely chopped)
- 1 ½teaspoons salt
- 2teaspoons cumin
- 1teaspoon paprika
- ½teaspoon ginger
- ¼teaspoon black pepper (or more to taste)
- ⅛teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2tablespoons lemon juice
- 2tablespoons olive oil
Step 1Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a bowl and add the meat, stirring to make sure the marinade is coating each steak evenly.
Step 2Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours.
Step 3Grill, broil, or cook the steaks in a grill pan with high heat, turning once until your desired doneness is reached.
Step 4Allow the steaks to sit several minutes before serving.
