Yeast Beer Bread
Beer bread is great for snacking, football games munchies, and for dipping in a bowl of super hot chili.

Ingredients
- 1package active dry yeast
- ¼cup warm water
- 1cup beer (room temperature)
- 1tablespoon cream cheese
- 1tablespoon sugar
- 1 ½teaspoons salt
- 3cups bread flour

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
In a small bowl, mix water and yeast. Stir until yeast is dissolved.Step 3
In a large bowl, add beer, cream cheese, sugar, and salt. Pour in yeast and stir.Step 4
Mix in 2 1/2 cups flour. Turn out onto a floured board and knead in remaining 1/2 cup of flour until dough is soft and smooth.Step 5
Put dough in greased bowl and turn dough so that top is greased . Cover and let rise in warm place for about 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.Step 6
Punch down dough with your fist. Turn dough out onto floured board and knead for about 1 minute.Step 7
Preheat oven 375 F. Form dough into 1 loaf. Put into buttered bread pan. Cover and let rise until double in size, about 30 minutes.Step 8
Score dough by cutting 3 slashes across top with a sharp knife.Step 9
Put in oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.Step 10
Turn out bread and let cool on a rack or dish towel.
