Baked Quince Recipe
A baked quince makes a great fall dessert. Quinces are like apples or pears, with a little more tartness. They only take an hour to bake.

- 4quinces , peeled, cored, and cut in half
- 1stick unsalted butter
- 1cup sugar
- 3cups warm water

Preheat oven to 350 F. Place quince in 9 x 12-inch baking dish, flesh side up. Cover each quince half generously with butter. Sprinkle with sugar. Fill baking dish with water.Step 3
