Keto BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
- 2tablespoons olive oil
- 1large shallot (diced)
- 1teaspoon salt
- 2garlic cloves (minced)
- 1(6-ounce) can tomato paste
- ½cup apple cider vinegar
- ½cup erythritol sweetener
- 1teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1tablespoon chili powder
- 1teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1teaspoon ground cumin
- ¾cup water

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Add the olive oil to a small saucepan and heat on medium heat. Add the shallots and salt and sauté until softened and translucent, about 4 minutes.Step 3
Add in the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute on medium-low heat.Step 4
Add the water, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, erythritol, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cumin, mustard, and liquid smoke to the saucepan.Step 5
Whisk the ingredients until combined. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened and slightly darker in color.Step 6
Allow the sauce to cool slightly. If a smooth sauce is desired, place it in a blender and blend until completely smooth. Taste and add more salt if needed.
