Slow-Cooker Scalloped Potatoes With Ham

Ingredients
- Butter for greasing slow cooker
- 3pounds red-skinned potatoes (peeled and sliced, or another variety of waxy potatoes )
- 1cup chopped onion
- 1cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1to 1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1(10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of celery soup, undiluted)
- ½cup water

Butter the sides and bottom of the slow cooker crockery insert.Step 3
Add the potatoes to the slow cooker along with the chopped onion, cheese, and ham. Sprinkle with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, and toss to distribute.Step 4
In a small bowl, combine the condensed soup with the water; pour the soup mixture over the potato mixture in the slow cooker.Step 5
Cover, and cook on high for 4 hours, or until potatoes are tender. Gently stir just before serving.Step 6
