    Gather the ingredients.

    In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

    Toss the cubed brioche with the milk mixture and soak for 1 minute.
  4. Step 4

    Spoon the soaked bread mixture into a 12-ounce mug. (Discard any remaining liquid in the bowl.) Microwave for 2 minutes.
  5. Step 5

    Top with a pat of butter and drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy warm.
