Basil-Oregano T-Bone Steaks
This delectable t-bone steak recipe uses a basil-oregano rub and is placed onto the grill to amplify the flavor.

Ingredients
- 2t-bone steaks (about 2 inches/5 cm thick)
- For the Wet Rub:
- ¼cup olive oil
- ⅓cup chopped fresh oregano
- 4to 5 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ½to 1 tablespoon sea salt, to taste
- 1teaspoon onion powder
- ½teaspoon garlic powder
- ½teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.Step 3
For charcoal make a two-layer fire, so you have a hot side and a medium side.Step 4
Combine wet rub ingredients and slather onto both sides of steak.Step 5
Let steaks sit for a few minutes.Step 6
Place steaks on a hot grill and cook for about 2 minutes per side, as long as there are good grill marks.Step 7
Reduce heat or move to the medium side of the grill.Step 8
Continue grilling for 10 to 12 minutes or until the steaks reach the desired doneness .Step 9
Once cooked, remove from heat and let steaks rest for at least 5 minutes.Step 10
