Black Garlic Chocolate Muffins
These chocolate muffins are enhanced with the sweetness of black garlic. They are great for breakfast or for a quick on-the-go snack. Black garlic can be found in most Asian markets.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups white sugar
- 1cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓cup cocoa powder
- 2teaspoons baking powder
- ½teaspoon baking soda
- ½teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½teaspoon salt
- 7solo black garlic bulbs, mashed
- ½cup oil
- ½cup milk
- ½cup sour cream
- 1egg
- 1teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
- ½cup semisweet chocolate chunks
- ½cup chopped nuts

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line cups with paper liners.Step 2
Combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.Step 3
Stir together mashed black garlic, oil, milk, sour cream, egg, and vanilla extract in a second bowl. Add to flour mixture and mix well. Add melted chocolate, stirring until well combined. Fold in chocolate chunks and chopped nuts. Spoon batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each almost to the top.Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 22 to 26 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
