Coffee Mug Cake
Prepare warm coffee cake in the time it takes to brew your morning coffee! This single-serving, warming dessert is a real treat.

- 1tablespoon chopped pecans
- 2teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1teaspoon brown sugar
- ¼teaspoon cinnamon
- 1teaspoon cold butter
- ⅔cup yellow cake mix
- 6tablespoons water
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2To make the streusel topping, combine the chopped pecans, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Step 3Cut the butter into small cubes and press into the flour mixture with a fork until it resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside in the refrigerator while making the cake.
Step 4To make the cake, put the cake mix and the water into a 12-ounce mug. Use a fork to stir them together until they are smooth.
Step 5Microwave for 60 seconds.
Step 6Top with the streusel topping and microwave for 60 more seconds.
Step 7The coffee cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.
