Easy Cheese Danish
This recipe for Cheese Danish starts with an already-made crescent roll dough. You get all that flakiness without the extra effort.

Ingredients
- 2(8-ounce) tubes crescent rolls
- 2(8-ounce) packages cream cheese (softened)
- 1cup sugar, plus extra for dusting
- 1teaspoon vanilla
- 1egg
- 2tablespoons milk
- Optional: Whole berry jam, Lemon Curd , or other such toppings

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan.Step 3
Separate 1 can crescent rolls. Press triangles together in a single layer on the bottom of the pan.Step 4
With an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg. Spread on top of the triangles in the pan.Step 5
For the top layer, use the last can of crescents. Be sure edges are pinched together.Step 6
Brush milk over dough and sprinkle with sugar.Step 7
Bake for 30 minutes.
