6-Ingredient Rum Balls Recipe

Ingredients
- 1cup chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate )
- 3tablespoons light corn syrup
- ½cup rum
- 2 ½cups crushed wafer cookies (or graham cracker crumbs)
- 1cup powdered sugar ( divided )
- 1cup nuts (finely chopped)

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Place the chocolate chips or chopped chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave until melted, stirring after every 45 seconds to prevent overheating.Step 3
Once the chocolate is melted, add the corn syrup and rum and stir until combined.Step 4
Stir in the wafer crumbs, 1/2 cup of the confectioners' sugar, and chopped nuts.Step 5
Cover the bowl with cling wrap and place the mixture in the refrigerator until it is firm enough to shape—about 1 hour.Step 6
Using a small candy scoop or a spoon, roll the candy into small 1-inch balls between your palms.Step 7
Place the remaining 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar in a small bowl, and roll the balls in the sugar. (Alternatively, the balls can be rolled in chopped nuts or cocoa powder).Step 8
Store the balls in the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature before serving.Step 9
