Ingredients
- 100 gdried tomatoes in oil
- 1red onion
- 3 tbsphoney mustard
- 150 gdried tomatoes in oil
- 50 ggherkins
- 1shallot
- 2 tbspketchup
- 1 tsppaprika
- ½ tspTabasco sauce
- ¼ tspsalt
- 8caper berries
- 1shallot
- 4 slicesnut bread
- 2 tbspolive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Puree the tomatoes with the retained tomato oil, onion and mustard, pour into a bowl.Step 2
Mix the tomatoes with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, mix into the puree. Plate up the tartare using a serving ring, top with the caper berries and shallot. Brush the slices of bread with oil, toast in a hot frying pan for approx. 1 min. on each side, serve with the tartare.
