Easy Vegan Apple Pie
This easy single-crust vegan apple pie recipe uses a pre-made pie crust and few ingredients, so it's quick and simple to prepare.

Ingredients
- 4to 5 Granny Smith apples (cored and thinly sliced)
- 1vegan pie crust (premade)
- ⅓cup vegan margarine (or a vegan butter substitute , softened, divided)
- ⅓cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1teaspoon grated nutmeg

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Roll the pie crust out into a 9-inch pie pan.Step 3
Place the sliced apples in the prepared pie crust. Dot the apples with half of the vegan margarine.Step 4
Stir the rest of the softened vegan margarine into the brown sugar. Add the cinnamon and nutmeg.Step 5
Crumble the sugar mixture over the top of the apples.Step 6
Place the pie in the oven and then bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the apples are very soft when pierced with a knife.Step 7
Let the pie rest for 1 to 2 hours.Step 8
