Shorecook's Cranberry-Apple Crisp
This is an easy way to enjoy a yummy dessert that looks like you spent hours in the kitchen. Using canned sliced apples makes this a breeze to put together. Topping with vanilla ice cream makes it a winner!

Ingredients
- 1(27 ounce) can sliced apples
- ¼cup cranberries
- 1cup all-purpose flour
- ¾cup white sugar
- ½cup cold salted butter
- 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ½gallon vanilla ice cream

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter an 8-inch square glass baking dish and set aside.Step 2
Drain apple slices and place in the baking dish. Randomly scatter cranberries among the apples.Step 3
Combine flour, sugar, and butter in a food processor. Process until pea-sized crumbs are formed, stopping just short of it being cookie dough. Cover the apples with the crumb mixture.Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm topped with a scoop of ice cream.
