Here’s the easiest ever old-fashioned. No stirring. No garnishing. Just some whiskey, bitters, sugar and ice — an eternally excellent combination, even without any ritual or fuss.
- Serves: 1 person
- 1scant teaspoon sugar (I like brown sugar, but use what you’ve got)
- A few dashes of Angostura or orange bitters
- 2ounces bourbon or rye whiskey
Step 1Put the sugar in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass. Douse it with the bitters. Add ice and pour in the whiskey.
