Crockpot Kielbasa With Cabbage and Potatoes
Cabbage and kielbasa in one dish, how can you resist? Discover a simple slow cooker recipe that puts a wholesome casserole on the dinner table.
- Serves: 6 persons
- ½head of cabbage (coarsely sliced)
- 1medium potato (diced)
- 1large onion (halved and thinly sliced)
- 1 ½to 2 pounds kielbasa (or a similar smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces)
- 1 ½cups chicken broth
- 1teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Cut up the cabbage, potato, and onion and place them in the slow cooker.
Step 3Add the cut kielbasa along with the broth, salt, and caraway and mix it all together.
Step 4Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours, or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
