Oven-Baked Potato Wedges
Crispy and full of flavor, these potatoes are also very easy to make. After you make these, try one of the variations, including garlic-herb and Parmesan.

Ingredients
- 2large baking potatoes (peeled and cut into 12 wedges)
- 2tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
- Coarse salt (to taste)
Instructions
Step 1
Place 1 oven rack in the top third of the oven. Preheat the oven to 425 F.Step 2
Place the potato wedges on a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and toss well until lightly coated. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer.Step 3
Bake for 25 minutes or until the tops of the potatoes are golden. Remove the pan from the oven. Turn the potatoes over with a spatula. Return to oven and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more, or until golden and crisp. (Watch carefully, the potatoes may bake unevenly.)Step 4
Remove the potatoes from the oven, toss with salt to taste, and serve right away.
