Slow Cooker Honey and Ginger Ale Ham
Our slow cooker ham is cooked with vegetables and ginger ale, and then it's glazed with a combination of honey and various spices.

Ingredients
- 3-pound ham (fully cooked)
- 4to 6 medium sweet potatoes (unpeeled and halved)
- 6to 8 medium carrots
- 1cup ginger ale
- Spiced Honey Glaze:
- ½cup honey
- ¼teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼teaspoon ground cloves
- ½teaspoon dry mustard
Instructions
Step 1
Scrub the sweet potatoes and trim. Cut in half.Step 2
Peel carrots and slice diagonally in 2-inch lengths.Step 3
Place vegetables on the bottom of the crock pot, place ham on top and then pour ginger ale overall.Step 4
Cover and cook on low for about 5 to 7 hours, or until vegetables are just tender. In a buttered measuring cup mix about 2 tablespoons of liquid from the pot with the glaze ingredients; pour over the ham. Continue cooking on low for 1 hour, basting frequently.Step 5
Slice ham into thin slices and serve with the cooked vegetables.
