Easy Heart-Shaped Bacon
Even your bacon can be sweet this Valentine's Day. Cooking up bacon in a heart shape is easy, especially when baked in the oven.
- Serves: 8 persons
- ½pound bacon
Step 1Preheat the oven to 425 F. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Step 2Cut the bacon strips in half width-wise.
Step 3Form 2 halves together into a heart shape, making sure they overlap generously as the bacon will shrink upon baking.
Step 4Bake the bacon for about 10 minutes or until slightly brown and crispy.
Step 5Lift off the bacon and place on a paper-towel-lined plate to drain.
Step 6Serve along with some eggs and toast and enjoy.
