Honey & mustard sauce
Use our moreish honey & mustard sauce to marinade or bake meat, or as a dressing. It's easy to make and will win over a shop-bought version every time

Ingredients
- 1tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 3tbsp runny honey
- 1tsp Dijon mustard
- 1tsp wholegrain mustard
- 250ml chicken or vegetable stock
- 2tbsp double cream
Instructions
Step 1
Put the oil into a large saucepan and add the garlic. Turn to a medium heat and gently soften the garlic for around 2 mins. Keep stirring so that it doesn’t burn, and just smells fragrant.Step 2
Next, add the honey, mustards and stir together, followed by the stock. Simmer for around 10 mins before adding the cream. Continue to simmer the sauce for a couple of minutes longer until thickened. It can be used to marinade or bake meat, or as a dressing.
