White chocolate martini
Enjoy the rich, smooth texture of white chocolate without the sickly sweetness in this martini – garnish the glass with white chocolate flakes before serving
- Serves: 1 person
- 20g white chocolate, coarsely grated
- 1tsp maple syrup or honey
- 25ml crème de cacao (or use regular – the white version results in a paler cocktail)
- 25ml double cream
- ¼tsp vanilla bean paste
- 50ml vodka
Step 1Tip the grated chocolate onto a plate. Brush the rim of a martini glass with a little maple syrup or honey, then dip into the chocolate to coat. Chill the glass until needed.
Step 2Pour the crème de cacao, cream, vanilla and vodka into a cocktail shaker and add a handful of ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels ice-cold. Strain the drink into the prepared glass to serve.
