Irish whiskey is the star of this cocktail, blended with sharp pink grapefruit and sweet honey – a refreshing idea for celebrating St Patrick’s Day

Ingredients

• 50 ml Irish whiskey
• 35 ml pink grapefruit juice (use 100% juice, not from concentrate)
• 10 ml honey
• grapefruit wedge, to garnish

Steps

1. Tip the whiskey, grapefruit juice and honey into a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake to combine, then double- strain into a stemmed cocktail glass (sometimes called a Nick and Nora glass). Garnish with a grapefruit wedge before serving.
