Chocolate Pudding Pie
Try this easy chocolate pudding pie recipe with graham cracker crust, garnished with fresh raspberries and shaved chocolate.
- Serves: 8 persons
- For the Crust:
- 5tablespoons butter
- 1 ¼cups graham crackers crumbs
- For the Filling:
- 5.9-ounce packages instant chocolate pudding
- 2cups milk
- For the Whipped Cream:
- 1cup heavy cream
- ¼cup powdered sugar
- Garnish: 1 cup fresh raspberries, and/or shaved chocolate
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2To make the crust, place the butter in a microwave-safe dish and heat until melted, about 1 minute.
Step 3Mix melted butter and graham cracker crumbs until moistened.
Step 4Press into a 9-inch pie plate and freeze 10 minutes.
Step 5For the filling, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes, or until completely smooth.
Step 6Pour into prepared crust, smoothing out the top. Refrigerate until set, 1 to 2 hours.
Step 7With an electric mixer, beat heavy cream and confectioners' sugar on low speed until sugar is incorporated, then switch to high, and beat until whipped .
Step 8Spoon whipped cream over the pudding pie.
Step 9Garnish chocolate pudding pie with fresh raspberries and shaved chocolate, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
