Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Air fryer wings are crispy without deep-frying. They are cooked at two different heats and then tossed in a homemade Buffalo sauce.

Ingredients
- For Wings:
- 2pounds chicken wings ( drumette and wingette separated )
- 1teaspoon kosher salt
- 1teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1teaspoon garlic powder
- ½teaspoon cayenne pepper
- For Buffalo Sauce:
- 4tablespoons butter
- 1teaspoon garlic powder
- ¾cup hot sauce
- Garnish:
- Chopped fresh chives

Gather the ingredients.Step 2
Pat wings dry with paper towels.Step 3
Spread out in a single layer and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.Step 4
Place wings in air fryer and set to 380 F. Cook for 25 minutes, pausing air fryer every 5 minutes to toss wings.Step 5
Turn up heat on the air fryer to 400 F and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes, until wings are crispy and browned. Another option would be to cook in batches to ensure crispness.Step 6
To make sauce, melt butter in the microwave for about 1 minute or until melted. Whisk in garlic powder and hot sauce until completely combined. Place back in the microwave for about 1 minute to heat thoroughly. Make sure sauce is at least warm before you tossing with wings.Step 7
Place wings in a large bowl. Drizzle sauce over top and toss to coat. Serve wings immediately, topped with chopped chives, if using, and alongside dipping sauces.
