Missy's Oatmeal-Bourbon Cookies
These delicious oatmeal cookies seem to disappear within minutes of baking! My friends beg me to make them. I figured it would be nice to share the recipe with the world. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1cup margarine, softened
- ½cup packed brown sugar
- 1(15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- ¼cup water
- 1egg
- 2cups quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1¼ cups chopped pecans
- 3tablespoons bourbon (such as Maker's Mark®)
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).Step 2
Cream margarine and brown sugar together in a bowl using an electric mixer. Add 1/2 of the cake mix, water, and egg; blend thoroughly. Stir in remaining cake mix, oats, pecans, and bourbon.Step 3
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven on the top racks until edges are set and golden, about 10 minutes.
