Crock Pot Jasmine Rice
Crock pot rice rarely burns or sticks and you don't have to watch it carefully—Learn how to make easy basmati or jasmine rice that's always perfect.
- Serves: 4 persons
- 1cup long grain basmati rice (or jasmine rice)
- 1 ¼cups water
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon butter
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Spray the crockpot stoneware generously with cooking spray . Add all the ingredients into your crockpot. Stir and cover.
Step 3Cook on low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. After the cooking time is up, check to see if all the liquid is absorbed. Taste for doneness. Add a few tablespoons of water if the rice is still hard and cook for 1/2 hour longer. Using a fork, fluff up the grains of rice and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Step 4Serve as a side and enjoy!
