    Gather the ingredients.

    Spray the crockpot stoneware generously with cooking spray . Add all the ingredients into your crockpot. Stir and cover.

    Cook on low for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. After the cooking time is up, check to see if all the liquid is absorbed. Taste for doneness. Add a few tablespoons of water if the rice is still hard and cook for 1/2 hour longer. Using a fork, fluff up the grains of rice and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
