West Indian Bay Leaf Tea
A hot cup of West Indian bay leaf herbal tea is fragrant, comforting, and relaxing. It's really easy to make and this recipe will show you how.
- Serves: 2 persons
- 3large fresh West Indian bay leaves
- 2cups water
- Sugar (to taste), optional
- Splash milk, optional
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2In a small pot, add the bay leaves and water. Cover and boil over high heat. Once the water boils, lower the heat to medium-high and continue to boil for 3 minutes.
Step 3Remove the pot from the heat and let the tea steep for 4 minutes.
Step 4Strain out the bay leaves.
Step 5If desired, sweeten or add milk to suit your taste.
