Korean Gaeran Mari Rolled Egg Omelet
This Korean rolled egg omelette (Gaeran Mari) recipe is as easy as any American omelette but looks beautiful on the table and an easy side dish for any meal.
- Serves: 8 persons
- 3medium eggs
- ½small onion (finely chopped)
- ½small carrot (finely chopped)
- 1sheet Korean roasted seaweed (Gim)
- 1teaspoon salt
- Dash of pepper
Step 1Gather the ingredients.
Step 2Mix eggs with a whisk or fork and add onion and carrot until well combined.
Step 3In a lightly greased pan, pour the egg mixture and heat slowly over low heat. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4Heat slowly for a few minutes until almost cooked through, then place seaweed sheet on top of omelet.
Step 5Roll omelet into a tight roll by lifting side with spoon or baking spatula.
Step 6Let omelet rest for a few minutes to cool.
Step 7Slice into 1-inch pieces and serve with cross-sections showing.
