Seasoned Oven Baked Chicken Pieces
These seasoned baked chicken pieces are cooked at a lower temperature than a roasted chicken, it's almost midway between roasting and braising.

Ingredients
- 1large fryer chicken (cut into 8 pieces)
- ¼cup flour
- ½teaspoon white pepper
- ½teaspoon paprika
- ½teaspoon dried thyme (crumbled)
- 1teaspoon kosher salt
- 1stick butter (melted)
Instructions
Step 1
Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 F.Step 2
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.Step 3
Combine the flour, pepper, paprika, thyme, and salt, in a shallow dish.Step 4
Working 1 piece at a time with tongs, dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture and then dip into the melted butter, covering completely.Step 5
Transfer to a baking dish skin-side up.Step 6
Bake for about an hour, or until the juices run clear and the chicken is nicely browned and cooked all the way through. Serve and enjoy.
