Broiled Ham Steak With Sweet Mustard Glaze
This ham steak is brushed with a sweet mustard glaze and broiled. A mixture of two mustards, brown sugar, and cider vinegar form a delicious crust.

Ingredients
- 1 ½pounds ham steak (center-cut; cooked)
- 2teaspoons ground mustard
- 1teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ¼cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2tablespoons cider vinegar

Preheat the broiler. Line a shallow rimmed baking pan or broiler pan with foil and place a rack in the pan.Step 3
Place the ham steak on the rack.Step 4
In a bowl, combine the ground mustard and Dijon mustard with the brown sugar and vinegar and stir until smooth.Step 5
Brush the glaze mixture over the top of the ham steak.Step 6
Broil the ham about 3 to 4 inches from the heat source until the glaze is bubbling and lightly browned, about 4 minutes.Step 7
Turn the ham over and baste with more of the mustard mixture.Step 8
Broil for another 3 to 5 minutes, until browned.Step 9
Serve whole or sliced, over a bed of mashed potatoes if you like, and enjoy.
