Spanish Tomato Sauce
This Spanish sauce is a spicy tomato sauce made with sautéed onions, green peppers, mushrooms, garlic, and a little hot sauce.

Ingredients
- 2tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- ½cup chopped onions
- ¼cup diced green pepper
- 1clove garlic (minced)
- ½cup sliced mushrooms
- 2cups classic tomate sauce
- Dash of Kosher salt, or to taste
- Dash of black pepper, or to taste
- Dash of Tabasco sauce, or to taste

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions, green pepper, and garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent, for about 5 minutes.Step 3
Add the mushrooms and continue to sauté until the mushrooms are soft.Step 4
Add the tomate sauce, bring to a simmer, and cook for about 5 minutes.Step 5
Season with the salt, pepper, and Tabasco.Step 6
Serve right away and enjoy.
