    Gather the ingredients.

    In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions, green pepper, and garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent, for about 5 minutes.​

    Add the mushrooms and continue to sauté until the mushrooms are soft.​
  4. Step 4

    Add the tomate sauce, bring to a simmer, and cook for about 5 minutes.​
  5. Step 5

    Season with the salt, pepper, and Tabasco.
  6. Step 6

    Serve right away and enjoy.
